Text Mirroring Tutorial Adobe Photoshop CS

step 1
Create new image 300 X 130, create new layer "Ctrl+Shift+N" and name it "BG" (will come back to this layer later). Now type your text for example we use "VTscripts". Right click on this layer and select "Rasterize Layer"

Now right click on layer "VTscripts" and select "Duplicate this layer", leave the name of this layer by default "VTscripts copy". Hit "Ctrl+T", right click on the image VTscripts and select last option "Flip Vertical". Hit "Enter" then "V" button on your keyboard and using your mouse move it down to the bottom of you letters. Select "Edit/Transform/Perspective" and using you mouse take bottom left corner (small square) of flipped VTscripts and move it a little to the left / down, you'll see it will move right corner automaticaly. Hit "Enter".

For Effect of mirroring we use Quick Mask tool. Hit "Q" on your keyboard then "G" (Gradient Tool) Move your mouse from top of the image almost to the bottom. It should look like on the left image example.

Hit "Q" again and "Del" button on your keyboard. Then "M" and click on selected image to remove selection. Now select "BG" Layer that we created at the begining of this tutorial, hit "G" (Gradient Tool) By default color will be same as you text color. And play with it a little untill you get final result that you like or that looks like on our example image at the left. Hit "Enter". Well Done!
